Below are some frequently asked questions about our tours, events and facility.

  • What should I bring?
    Bathing suit or swim clothes Towels/change of clothes Clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather (tours around the 7-acre facility require walking) Waterproof cameras or GoPros Picnic lunches are welcome in designated areas AVOID wearing loose fitting jewelery in the pool.
  • Do you hold Otter Swims year round?
    Yes, Otter Swims are held year round. Our saltwater pool is heated to ensure the perfect temperature.
  • Can you meet a sloth when you book an Otter Swim?
    Yes. The Otter Swim includes the 2 hour encounter tour, where you will get to meet two-toed sloths.
  • What happens if it rains?
    Otter Swims will still happen in the rain. The pool will be evacuated in events of lightning. In cases of extreme weather otter swims can be rescheduled.
  • Is there an area for observers?
    Currently, we do not have an observation deck for bystanders to view otter swims, those wanting to participate must purchase a ticket to access the pool. You will not be able to watch others swim.
  • For Kid Otter Swims, do adults need a ticket? "
    Yes. During kid otter swims an adult with a ticket is required to be in the pool with their child.
