Introducing: Giraffe Picnics

For those of you who love animals and nature, this is the perfect experience for you! For an entire hour in length (or two tables with ten guests each), your group can spend time at our behind-the-scenes giraffe paddock. You'll get to enjoy some small picnic foods while interacting closely with these beautiful creatures that are sure make anyone smile.

We will provide a light lunch(salads, wraps, etc..) and can accommodate dietary preferences.

You can also use one of our professional photographers for an additional fee. Private tables can be arranged for a $500 fee and can include up to 10 guests.

Corporate dinner, girls night, family day, and any other excuse you need to have dinner with giraffes!

Meet our juvenile reticulated giraffe , T'challa! Guests have the opportunity to get up close and personal with T'challa while learning all about the reticulated giraffe. Take advantage of Barn Hill Preserve's unique experience, right in your backyard!

This interactive experience (approx. one hour) is a must for all animal lovers; feeding time will let you get to know our juvenile reticulated giraffe, T'Challa, and his human caretakers on a more intimate level.

T'challa is a sure favorite with all ages, and is a must for any animal lover in your life!

Please note that this is not a private encounter and there could be other families accompanying you during this experience. The encounter also includes browse sticks and pelleted feed, as T'challa loves his bottle so much that it is usually gone within a matter of minutes!
