Field Trips
Host your next class field trip with us for an unforgettable experience that will last a child's lifetime!
Field trips to Barn Hill Preserve are wild! Students will enjoy an exciting outdoor tour led by our enthusiastic caretakers. These guided tours include live animal encounters and provide an excellent educational experience for young minds!

These on-site events include a two-hour experience that covers our guided walking tour, animal encounters under the pavilion, and a hayride! You will also have time to eat lunch under our covered pavilion if you would like.
Mobile Crew
Barn Hill Preserve's free mobile school program is a great way to get kids more involved with natural wildlife and give them an up-close and personal experience with the different kinds of animals we share the planet with.
Students participate by asking questions, getting involved in demonstrations, and responding to the speaker, making our program not only educational but also entertaining! Barn Hill Preserve's exotic animal education program is 100% FREE to both your students and school.
We fund our free program by providing students the opportunity to purchase pictures with our live animal ambassadors.

We currently travel to: Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, and of course Louisiana!
